Movement
We are meant to be dynamic movers. Our bodies are created to roam the world, lift items, hunt our food, cook it, and play with our family and children. We are not created to be still and we are not created to do repetitive movements for a lifetime. This leads to injury, arthritis, dysfunction, and pain. Our bodies are amazing. They crave to heal! When given the right environment through dynamic movements and the other 4 four pillars of health, our bodies will thrive. We just need to give it the movement that it needs.
Movement can come in many shapes. We often advise that the best movement for your body is one that you like to do. For some, outdoor hiking is ideal. For others, Crossfit it their calling. We have our yogis, swimmers, walkers, runners, kickboxers, and even those who have not yet found what is their favorite type of movement. Certain movements are great for specific conditions. One thing we believe, is that movement is possible for all women.
Hormone health and movement is connected. In coaching sessions, we can address if certain workouts or a lack of movement is affecting your hormone health. Coaching will help build a plan around movements you enjoy and help you discover other types of movement that can add value to your experience.
